Poised to be one of the most anticipated openings of 2025, this new concept will redefine fine dining in LA through innovation, elegance, and hospitality at the highest level. We are building an extraordinary team to launch this landmark projectand are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant General Manager to help bring it to life.

As a Captain, you are a leader on the dining room floor, orchestrating each service with precision, warmth, and expertise. Working in close collaboration with Assistant Servers, Sommeliers, and the broader front-of-house team, you ensure that every guest interaction is thoughtful and seamless. With a deep understanding of timing, flow, and the rhythm of service, you guide the guest experience from start to finishelevating hospitality to an art form.

Position Summary:
Captains are central to the guest experience and serve as the primary liaison between the kitchen and the dining room. This role requires deep knowledge of fine dining service, impeccable communication skills, and an intuitive sense for anticipating guest needs. As a Captain, you will elevate each service to a performance of precision, elegance, and warmth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead your section with grace and professionalism, ensuring flawless execution of service from greeting to farewell
  • Possess a thorough understanding of our menus, ingredients, techniques, and wine/spirit pairings to guide guests thoughtfully and confidently
  • Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen, sommeliers, and fellow front-of-house staff to ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Uphold and model our core values of respect, hospitality, creativity, and excellence
  • Mentor and support back servers and newer team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth
  • Maintain knowledge of all daily changes, special menus, and guest notes
  • Be a brand ambassador, embodying elegance, finesse and innovation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a fine dining or Michelin-level environment
  • Polished communication skills and refined table-side manner
  • Strong knowledge of wine, beverage service, and culinary technique
  • Natural leader with a collaborative mindset
  • Available nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($17.00) plus tips

Estimated Weekly Tips: $18
