Job Details Logan Square Location only:Title: Bartender
Reports to: Bar Managers and/or Beverage Director(s), Floor Supervisors and/or Floor Managers, General Manager, Assistant General Managers, LSD Directors and Partners
Position Objective: To uphold the beverage and service standards of their bar space and bar program, as outlined by the Bar Manager and/or Beverage Director. To perform day to day bar operations. Maintaining the bar space and all equipment that helps the team execute service which includes and is not limited to bar wells, refrigeration, ice machines, glass polishing machines and freezers.They will maintain the tone and vibe of hospitality as related from Land and Sea Dept.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
- Must be detail oriented, have strong time management, and a sense of urgency.
- Perform opening duties of their properties pertaining to their role. This might include running duties throughout the shift.
- Setting up their workspaces with any mise en place + sanitation requirements.
- Upholding sanitation requirements.
- Maintaining their workspaces throughout their shift.
- Ensuring cocktails are built to spec.
- Checking the freshness and quality of the products (juices, syrups, produce).
- Being an expert of their room: knowing menus, history and acting as an ambassador of the space.
- Maintaining a knowledge of all beverages, their preparation, and ingredients.
- Fostering open communication with managers and the bar team.
- Performing closing duties, setting up the room successfully for the next service.
- Providing consistent and quality service to each guest.
*May perform other job duties as they arise
*Must be able to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods of time

Compensation: Hourly ($12.62) plus tips
