The iconic Bar Harbor Inn & Spa is looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Barista to join our team for the 2025 season. This full-time seasonal position is perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced mornings, crafting great coffee, and creating a warm start to our guests' day on the beautiful coast of Maine.

Whether you're an experienced barista or new to the world of espresso and cold brewwe can train the right person who brings a great attitude and a willingness to learn. You'll be a part of one of the most recognized and celebrated properties in Bar Harbor delivering outstanding service.

Position Details:

+ Schedule: Full-time, seasonal (spring through fall)

+ Hours: 6:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 5 to 6 days/week (weekends and holidays required)

+ Location: Bar Harbor Inn & Spa, Bar Harbor, Maine

+ Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour + tips

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe station and prep areas

+ Restock pastries, grab-and-go items, and cafe supplies

+ Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude

+ Take orders efficiently and handle payments accurately

+ Deliver consistent, high-quality service with attention to detail

+ Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards

+ Communicate with kitchen, management, and front desk as needed

Skills & Requirements:

+ Friendly, energetic personality with great communication skills

+ Ability to stay calm and efficient during busy morning rushes

+ Food & beverage experience preferred (1 year ideal) but not requiredwe'll train the right person!

+ Comfortable handling food and beverages safely and professionally

+ Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays

+ Ability to work independently while also being a team player

Performance Measurement:

90-day performance review, guest feedback, beverage quality, and contribution to team morale and service excellence.
