Barista / Cafe Associate

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Barista/Cafe Associate to join our team! The ideal candidate has experience working in a cafe environment, is comfortable with barista duties, and has a background in serving. You should be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and take pride in maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks to standard recipes

- Take customer orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations

- Serve food and beverages efficiently and accurately

- Maintain a clean and organized cafe environment, including regular cleaning of equipment, counters, and seating areas

- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed throughout the shift

- Handle cash and operate the point-of-sale system with accuracy

- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a barista, cafe associate, or server preferred

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent customer service and communication abilities

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Willingness to take initiative and help wherever needed

- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
