We are looking for a Bell Captain who can assist the guest services manager in the flow of the bellman and overlook the concierge tasks are being completed to an exception level. As a member of the Guest Services team, you will deliver creativity and innovation and feature exploration of the culture and spirit of Sun Peaks. As a critical guest-facing role within the lobby team, this role is well positioned to maximize value in every guest interaction delivering authentic experiences. This role will develop knowledge and strengthen the successful candidates professional experience, opening internal and external opportunities for advancement throughout the Tourism/Hospitality industry. Compensation Information: $21.00 per hour
Physical Requirement: Heavy; work activities involve handling loads up to 35 kg; predominantly in an indoor setting.

Skills you bring with you:
- Supervisory experience within a Front Office team or equivalent customer-facing role with an understanding of the guest service processes
- A working knowledge of hotel systems is a strong asset
- Post-secondary education in hospitality, or a related field would be an advantage
- Professional, well organized and delights in providing exceptional guest service by anticipating guest needs with strong interpersonal skills
- A valid BC Class 5 drivers license, or equivalent
Primary Responsibilities:
Operations:
- Champions quality service when assisting with guest check ins, check outs and additional hotel standard special requests as it relates to their stay
- Oversee the bell desk operations and ensure established SOGs are executed in a professional and consistent manner
- Shares Guest Service Best Practices with Bell and Guest Services team through ongoing coaching
- Overlook day-to-day operations throughout guest experience outlets (Concierge, Bellhops, Pool Attendant, & Ski-Bike Valet)
- Responsible for delivering a range of guest-facing services seamlessly and professionally, including, but not limited to:
- Greeting guests entering the lobby in a graciously welcoming manner
- Luggage assistance for storage/ pickup/ running to vacant inspected rooms
- Booking shuttles, reservations, ticket sales, & other activities
- Seasonal valet assistance (Bike & Ski)
- Park, drive and retrieve vehicles throughout guests stay
- Golf cart shuttle; Guest and golf bag drop off and pickup (Summer)
- Guest services assistance for hotel amenities such as business center, phones, outlet information, and booking the pool and hot tub times
