Job Details Maitre D' / Server at Nettare

We're looking for a Maitre D' / Server to join our small, passionate team at Nettare, a bar, restaurant, cafe, and bottle shop in Ukrainian Village. At Nettare, we celebrate Midwest & Great Lakes produce and producers through our food and drinks, and we're dedicated to creating a quality hospitality experience for our guests.

Serving tables during dinner service is the primary focus of this role, with additional responsibilities including light administrative tasks for event requests and being present for events you help sell.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve tables during dinner service.

  • Manage seating and guest flow in the dining room.

  • Respond to event inquiry emails and relay requests to the appropriate team members.

  • Be present for events that you help sell.

  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff during service.

Schedule:

This is a full-time position working four 8-10 hour shifts per week.

  • Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts are consistent.

  • Your fourth shift will rotate between Wednesday and Sunday.

Reporting Structure:

You'll report directly to our Communications Director and General Manager.

Compensation:

Estimated total annual compensation: $58,000 - $60,000 , which includes base salary, a portion of our service fee distribution, additional tips, and event commissions.

Qualifications :
  • 2+ years of experience as a server in a chef-driven concept.

  • Some experience organizing and/or working events.

  • Experience tending bar is a plus.

  • Enjoys working with a small team.

  • Wine & Spirits Knowledge (or an interest in learning)
