The Bartender plays a vital role in our beverage program, assisting the senior bartender and bar consultant in preparing high-quality drinks that adhere to our restaurants standards of excellence. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop bartending skills and advance within a restaurant committed to achieving high status.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drink Preparation
o Assist in the preparation of alcoholic and nonalcoholic according to the bar program recipes and standards.
o Ensure all ingredients are prepped and ready for use during service.
2. Quality Control
o Maintain strict hygiene and cleanliness standards at the bar, in the kitchen and food storage areas.
o Ensure that all beverages meet the restaurants and bar aesthetic and quality standards.
3. Learning and Development
o Observe and learn from bar consultant to understand various bartending techniques, including customer service.
o Participate actively in training sessions to enhance bartending skills and knowledge.
4. Team Collaboration
o Work closely with the FOH team, communicating efficiently to ensure a smooth workflow during shifts.
o Assist in training interns or apprentices and helping to create a positive team environment.
5. Inventory Management
o Assist in managing beverage inventory, including ordering and maintaining stock levels of ingredients.
o Report any shortages or issues with supplies to management.
6. Adherence to Standards
o Follow health and safety regulations and food safety standards at all time
Qualifications:
o 2+ years bartending experience in a fast-paced, high-quality environment
o Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, and spirits
o Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
o Punctual, dependable, and a team player with a positive attitude
o Ability to engage with guests and create a memorable bar experience
o Must have or be able to obtain a valid Food Handler & Alcohol Service Certification
