Family owned South Austin coffee shop and bar seeking a dependable, personable, and eager bartender with at least 2 years of experience in the service industry. Applicant must be a self-starter with a fun attitude who is willing to work both morning and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

Train all new team members

Ensure all drinks are made and served to standard

Identify any gaps in training and undertake any training as required

To ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any faults to management

Ability to stand for several hours at a time and provide fast-paced service

Communicating with guests in a friendly, pleasant manner

Requirements

Eager team player

Must have 2 years experience

Must have food handlers and tabc certifications

Knowledge of different wine varietals, beer styles and cocktails

Strong ability to multitask while prioritizing customers needs

Possess basic math skills, be able to handle money, and operate a point-of-sale (Toast)

Must have and be able to implement local food safety and health regulations and standards

Extensive problem-solving skills, and detailed oriented

Able to work flexible hours

Work as a team and assist beyond the bar w helps needed
