AM Barista for a new concept at JUN

Hiring full time & part time Barista.

JUN, owned by Chef Evelyn Garcia and Chef Henry Lu, opened a new concept called THIRD PLACE. It will run as a cafe in the JUN space. Along with coffee drinks, our wine and beer, and limited cocktails will be available. The concept will also have a rotating chef residency that will provide lunch service. The team at JUN will provide baked goods and grab and go's!

We are looking for a few individual that are independent thinker and workers, who can provide quality service.

Requirements

- food handlers and TABC certifications

- proven experience working in the restaurant/cafe industry

- sound knowledge of proper food handling/cafe procedures

- the ability to work as a part of a team

- the ability to work in a fast paced enviroment

- the ability to stand for long periods of time

- excellentanization skills

- effectivemunication skills

- exceptional guest service skills (table maintenance)

Role

- working knowledge of an espresso machine, tea, pour overs. etc

- greeting guests

- ability to describe our menu items in detail

- knowledge about all food allergies for guests well-being

- table maintenance and resets

- drink and food running

- setup/closing break down
