SERVER POSITION AT COMMUNION RESTAURANT & BAR

Led by James Beard Finalist Chef Kristi Brown and her son/business partner Damon Bomar, COMMUNION isn t just a restaurant it s a cultural experience rooted inmunity, connection, and culinary exploration. Located in Seattle s historic Central District, we re an upscale-casual restaurant and craft cocktail bar known for bold flavors, warm hospitality, and unapologetic cultural authenticity.

Dining Capacity: 62 seats + 9 bar seats

Service Style: Upscale casual dining

Turns per Night: ~2.5

Shifts: ~8 hours

Typical: 1pm 9ish or 5pm 12ish (y all know how it goes)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver warm, attentive, and knowledgeable hospitality from greet to farewell

Maintain a thorough knowledge of our food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer

Guide guests through the menu, offering thoughtful suggestions and upsells

Collaborate closely with bartenders and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service

Stay sharp maintain side work, cleanliness, and station readiness at all times

Learn and evolve keep up with menu changes, seasonal offerings, and cultural context behind our dishes

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years serving experience in high-volume or upscale dining

Familiarity with craft cocktails and spirits (bartending experience is a plus)

Clear, professionalmunication

Strong memory, multitasking skills, and sense of timing

Passion for culture,munity, and hospitality
