Part-Time Housekeeper Location: Nashville, TN 37215 A private family residing in Nashville (Green Hills area) is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join their household team on a part-time basis. Ideal Schedule: Mondays: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Fridays: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Approximately 12 hours per week Compensation: $30-35 per hour, depending on experience Mileage reimbursement for work-related errands (no vehicle provided) About the Household: Friendly, laid-back family atmosphere Two retired parents who are easygoing and personable An adult son who is energetic, respectful, and friendly A Family Assistant is already employed and frequently onsite Home includes a Labrador dog Home environment is quiet, casual, pristine, and beautifully maintained Primary Responsibilities: Routine housekeeping of high standards, including: Vacuuming and dusting Laundry and linen care Cleaning and tidying bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen (primary focus areas) General organization and upkeep of home Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the home's interiors Using appropriate cleaning products and techniques to protect surfaces and finishes Occasional errands or light tasks as needed (driving required) Ideal Candidate: Experienced professional housekeeper, ideally already working part-time and looking to supplement hours Takes pride in thorough, high-quality cleaning work Understands discretion and maintains strict confidentiality Positive, upbeat, and friendly, while also respectful of boundaries and privacy Works independently, takes initiative, and reads the room Comfortable around pets Local candidates only (no relocation offered) Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for work-related travel Start Date: July 28, 2025 This is a wonderful opportunity for a skilled housekeeper who values working in a warm, respectful, and stable household environment. Required Qualifications: Age: Candidates must be at least 21 years old. Experience: Related work experience is required along with verifiable references. Candidates may have a broad range of experience, but it MUST pertain to the position you are applying for. We require at least 2-3 verifiable references. Letters of recommendation from previous employers are preferred. Driving Record: A driver's license is required for most positions and a motor vehicle investigation is completed prior to placement. Criminal Background: A criminal background investigation is completed on all candidates prior to placement. Residency Requirement: All candidates must furnish proof of US citizenship or eligibility to work as a legal alien.
