Reporting Lines:
The server reports to the General Manager and Floor Manager / Assistant General Manager (AGM).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and provide menu recommendations.
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen, ensuring special requests and dietary needs are communicated.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, presenting dishes with finesse and attention to detail.
- Engage with guests in a courteous and professional manner, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Anticipate guests' needs, replenishing beverages, utensils, and condiments as required.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and timely service.
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables, maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- Uphold DOH cleanliness and sanitation standards, following health and safety protocols.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, supporting fellow team members.
- Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge and service skills.
- Assist in restaurant events and promotions, engaging with guests to enhance their experience.
Requirements:
- Strong base knowledge of food, wine and spirits
- Previous experience as a Server in a high-end, fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in order-taking and service presentation.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tables with efficiency.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices to maintain a hygienic dining environment.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
- Passion for the culinary and hospitality industry, with a desire to enhance the guest experience.
Compensation: Hourly ($11.00) plus tips
