THE JOB:

As a host in Salt & Ivy you will be the face of our renowned Coastal Kitchen. You will greet guests from all over the world as they join us to dine under our famous atrium. Using your personality and bright smile, you will WOW our guest with unforgettable moments that they will take with them beyond their stay!

THE STARTING RATE: $14.11/hr

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Greet guests promptly as they enter the restaurant

• Answer phones, keep accurate count of reservations and handle reservation book

• Ensure menus have proper inserts and are current according to the most recent change, and replace all menus in poor condition

• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas; shut down podium and forward phones to voiceloop at end of shift

• Communicate the needs of the guests to the kitchen and management, inform management of guest reactions and comments, and assist management as needed to ensure smooth operation and quality service

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Is 18+ years of age

• 1 year min of previous customer service experience preferred
