The Opportunity

The host position is one of the first impressions of the restaurant to the guest and is a very important part of the overall experience. They are responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests, work seamlessly as a team with the rest of the FOH staff to ensure clear communication and impeccable service, all while upholding One White Street's culture.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Greet incoming and departing guests warmly
  • Seating guests throughout service
  • Assistance with resetting tables
  • Participating in other parts of service when and where needed
  • Provide a friendly and caring experience for every guest that comes into the restaurant, upholding the restaurants hospitality standards.
  • Anticipate guest needs and maintain positive guest relations at all times, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests.
  • Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar area, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of applicable experience
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule per the needs of the business

Compensation: Hourly ($16.50) plus tips
