The Opportunity
The host position is one of the first impressions of the restaurant to the guest and is a very important part of the overall experience. They are responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests, work seamlessly as a team with the rest of the FOH staff to ensure clear communication and impeccable service, all while upholding One White Street's culture.
What Youll Be Doing
- Greet incoming and departing guests warmly
- Seating guests throughout service
- Assistance with resetting tables
- Participating in other parts of service when and where needed
- Provide a friendly and caring experience for every guest that comes into the restaurant, upholding the restaurants hospitality standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and maintain positive guest relations at all times, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests.
- Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar area, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate.

Requirements:
- 1+ years of applicable experience
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule per the needs of the business
