Groundskeeper (outside)**

**Location: Fresno, TX 77545**

**Job Type: Full-Time | [Temp-to-Hire**

**Pay Rate:$16 hr**

**Position Summary:**

We are currently hiring a **Groundskeeper** to provide general labor and site support at a landfill facility. This role _does not involve working directly with trash or waste placement areas_ . Instead, you'll help maintain the surrounding grounds, equipment, and vehicles to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Perform daily yard clean-up and site maintenance tasks

+ Fuel company vehicles and light equipment

+ Operate site vehicles and light machinery (e.g., mowers, sweepers, pickup trucks)

+ Clean tracks on tracked equipment

+ Handle basic landscaping duties such as mowing and picking up debris

+ Assist with installing temporary wind fences as needed

+ Direct traffic safely on-site as required

+ Complete minor janitorial tasks and office maintenance (painting, cleaning, etc.)

+ Support the team with other general labor tasks as assigned

**Qualifications:**

**Preferred:**

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Valid drivers license

**Required:**

+ Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

+ Ability to follow safety guidelines and work independently

+ Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail

+ Reliability and punctuality are a must
