As a team member at Thai Baan at Tenmile Distillery, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Job Requirement:

Greet customers and present menus.

Make recommendations and answer all related inquiries about the menu.

Check identification of customers to verify they are of legal age.

Record food and drink orders accurately into the register system.

Deliver food and beverages to customers at their tables.

Ensure meals are prepared in accordance with standard recipes.

Upsell food and beverage items to enhance customer experience.

Respond promptly to requests from customers in a polite and professional manner.

Address any issues related to customer satisfaction and dining experience.

Process transactions using the POS system.

Prepare checks for customers when theyre ready to pay.

Handle customer payments efficiently.

Maintain an organized and appealing dining area.

Ensure clean utensils, equipment, and working areas.

Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene standards and policies.

Minimum age requirement of 18 years

Education, Certifications and /or licenses:

High School Diploma preferred

Experience:

Understanding of classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names and

garnishments

Knowledge and education in food preparation and cooking techniques an advantage

Cash-handling skills

Mature judgment and professionalism in handling all matters

Knowledge/Skills:

Working knowledge of service techniques

Working knowledge of spirits, wine and beer

Working knowledge of POS navigation

Physical Demand:

Ability to perform all functions at the restaurant level, including delivery when

needed.

Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products

and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.

Standing and walking during entire shift covering large areas

Working Conditions and Environment:

Hours may vary but amount to 30hrs, Able to work flexible schedules

Ability to perform all functions at the restaurant level, including delivery when

needed.

Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products

and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.

Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operates phones,

computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment.

Essential hand/eye coordination

Work is normally performed in a typical interior restaurant/bar/casino work

environment

Noise level is moderate to high

Limited exposure to physical risk

Moderate physical effort required

Shift Availability:

- Thursday - Sunday

- 10-hour shift

- 8-hour shift

- Evening shift

- Weekend Brunch shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.35 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 40 per week
