We are seeking a Receptionist & Switchboard professional to join a team of three at a prestigious law firm account. This role fulfills Reception and Hospitality duties including:
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Location:1401 New York Ave NW, Suite 500 Washington, DC 20005
Work Schedule:Monday Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Dress Code: Business Casual and Professional
Greeting guests and answering/transferring phone calls
Reserving conference rooms and visiting offices
Ordering pre-packed lunch/breakfast for meetings from vendors
Setting up beverages and catering for meetings
Maintaining conference rooms and kitchen supplies and arrangements
Supporting Office Services tasks such as mail handling, shipping, copying, scanning, and office supply ordering

Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and guests
Provide excellent customer service with a professional appearance and demeanor
Prioritize multiple tasks efficiently throughout the day
Work collaboratively with onsite and operations teams
Handle Office Operations and Facilities requests as a liaison
Assist customer teams with routine tasks as a first responder
Participate enthusiastically in company and community service events
Perform light administrative duties, PC support, and other assigned tasks
Maintain and update company phone lists, automated messaging, and calendars
Lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of prior switchboard or front desk reception experience
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word and Excel)
Self-motivated, fast learner with a great attitude and consistency
Flexibility to work early or late hours to accommodate end-user requests (primarily weekdays)
Previous experience in hoteling, hospitality, business office environments, or restaurant industry preferred
