Seeking Weekend Party Host for Kid's Play & Party Venue

Pikopye's Town Lakeway, an upscale children's play and party space in Lakeway, TX is looking for one new member of our team to serve as in customer service as a Party Host for weekend parties in our Tiny Town and in our outdoor space, The Backyard. Weekend shifts are required.

In addition to party shifts, additional pick up shifts come available during the week and some weekends as a Front Desk Attendant, or as we say, as an "Imagination Host" for weekday open play.

Our ideal candidate is outgoing, loves children, appreciates the understanding of cleanliness in a kids space, is a self-starter and motivated to be part of a team...

..and who LOVES parties! Because we do a LOT of them!

Shifts are flexible, right now the ideal available shifts are:

Wednesdays 4pm - 7pm +/- (ideal but not required)
1-2Weekend opportunities vary, usually a 4-hr window from 9am - 7pm (depending on how many parties are booked)

Responsibilities:

-Party Host responsibilities include party design/set-up (balloons, tablecloths, favor bags, place settings), running the party timeline, ordering food for on time delivery, playing party games with the kids, and serving food, cake cutting service, clean up. And ensuring the guests have a fabulous time!

-Opening and Closing responsibilities include sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash, wiping/tidying restrooms, replenishing supplies like refilling soap, etc.

-Unique closing duties for our space: re-setting the Tiny Town for play! (aka ... picking up toys!! Takes about 30 mins!)

Additional Responsibilities:

-Greet party guests / customers and make them feel at home (show them our play space, suggest snacks and coffee options)

-Charge customers in our POS system for entrance fees, as well as any food and beverage or retail options

-Assist party guests / customers with signing our required digital waivers before play

-Answer any questions the customers may have on the phone, in our group email or in person, including sharing info about our parties and seasonal events.

Ongoing daily sidework includes party pre-prep as assigned, restocking as needed and cleaning the general space: wiping windows, wiping counters, wiping tidying the restrooms, and general tidying as needed to maintain a clean play environment

Qualifications:

Loves working with kids!
Upbeat, Friendly attitude
Responsible and proven ability to maintain scheduling commitments
Previous experience with children and in a restaurant/service/retail/customer service environment preferred
Dedication to helping keep the premises super clean!
Pass a background and detailed reference check
