Position Summary:
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for all employees, guests, and vendors.
This role provides a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk while supporting the operational administrative needs of a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk and Visitor Management
- Greet and check-in all visitors, vendors or external customers in accordance with company safety and security protocols.
- Notify employees of guest arrivals promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and waiting area at all times.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls and messages to the appropriate personnel.
- Partner closely with the janitorial team to ensure common areas are stocked, presentable and clean.
Production and Scheduling Support
- Back up support for Operations Scheduler
- Prepare PowerPoint Slides, videos, and materials for monthly meetings.
Administrative & Systems Support
- Support employees with system-related questions or direct them to the appropriate contact.
- Maintain accurate inventory of janitorial, office and front-desk supplies; place restock requests as needed.
- Assist with the administrative off-boarding process including final paycheck coordination and equipment collection.
Additional Duties
- Provide administrative support on projects assigned by manager.
- Ensure compliance with all visitors and security procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of front desk or administrative support experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams; experience with calendar management is a plus.
- Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and high emotional intelligence.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with discretion and confidentiality.
- Customer-service mindset with a can-do attitude and a polished appearance.
Pay Range
$25-$30 USD
