Part-Time Housekeeper | Islip, NY Schedule: Monday-Friday, 25 hours/week (flexible on hours & days of the week, either 4-5 days/week) Start Date: Flexible (pending transition of longtime housekeeper) Compensation: $25-$30/hour Our client in Islip is seeking an experienced and dedicated housekeeper to support the care and upkeep of a modern, light-filled, waterfront 4,000 sq. ft. home. This long-term opportunity offers flexibility and a warm, respectful environment. The previous housekeeper, a cherished member of the household for nearly 30 years, is retiring, and the client is hoping to find someone who will become just as valued. About the Home: 3-bedroom, 4-bathroom residence with large windows and an open layout Must be dog friendly- one large, friendly Labrador retriever lives in the home. Handyman comes 1x/week to help with household projects, & heavier cleaning tasks. Key Responsibilities: Complete housekeeping (kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, windows, etc.) Laundry: family laundry, folding, putting away, light ironing Formal dinner setup: linen napkins, proper table settings Light/simple cooking as needed Weekly errands (e.g., grocery shopping) Occasional driving (car provided) Daily care for large dog Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be mature, nurturing, and possess a calm, grounded presence. They should be seeking a long-term position and demonstrate a high level of reliability and commitment. Strong attention to detail and professionalism are essential.
