Job DetailsJob Description Blooming Hill Farm is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Bartender to join our team at our current location in Blooming Grove, NY. This is a unique opportunity to take part in a well-established bar program at a beloved farm-to-table restaurant & event venue while helping us prepare for an exciting future.
Our business is in the midst of a thoughtful relocation and expansion to a larger property in nearby New Windsor, NY , slated to open in 2027. The new location will include a full-service restaurant, retail market, 4 season standalone event venue, and on site glamping accommodationsoffering expanded opportunities for creativity, leadership, and growth within the company.
We're looking for someone who can help lead our current bar operations with skill and passion, while also contributing to the development of what comes next under the instruction of our beverage manager.
Responsibilities
Work & lead the bar operations during regular restaurant service and events
Work with the beverage manager on seasonal cocktail development and beverage menu planning
Manage bar prep & inventory, and help the beverage manager with ordering as needed
Train and support bar staff; and help maintain a professional, team-oriented culture
Help ensure compliance with DOH and SLA standards in bar operations
Participate in on- and off-site events, weddings, and special activations
Requirements
3+ years of bartending experience in a quality hospitality environment
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
Enthusiasm for local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Must be available weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

Compensation DetailsCompensation: Hourly ($15.00 - $20.00) plus tips
Estimated Weekly Tips: $600
