Bartender- Full Time

Position Summary

The Pacific Club bartender / server is responsible for positive guest interactions while serving our guests in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, our staff is expected to be attentive to our guests needs and making them feel comfortable, important, appreciated and relaxed. Bartenders/servers exhibit strong food, beer, liquor and wine knowledge. They prepare mixes and serve drinks directly to our members/guests and also assists in all operations of Dining Rooms / outlets as directed by Dining Room or Banquet Manager.

Essential Duties

1. Supports the overall success of the department by completing tasks relevant to his/her role at the request of his/her team members or any manager
2. Adheres to the application of all service standards as outlined in the Food & Beverage Department Manual
3. Assures that all state and local laws and club policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.
4. Stocks bar and completes pre-opening and closing duty requirements.
5. Prepares and serves alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Skilled at slowing and refusing alcoholic beverage service when necessary.
6. Ensure all charge tickets from each shift are executed through our POS efficiently.
7. Assist with the Department in maintaining all par levels of beverage and bar inventory by ordering or requisition liquors and supplies
8. Servers are work independently with great initiative, while also taking advantage and promoting teamwork.
9. Implements the BEO and ensures everything is ready to exceed service and quality expectations
10. Work as a team with service staff and bartenders to facilitate food service
11. Maintain an acceptable level of knowledge of the P.O.S, current menu choices, specialties and menu modifications options.
12. Complies with basic safety and sanitation requirements.
13. Knowledgeable of all aspects of department and daily club operations, including events and operating hours
14. Adhere to grooming and uniform standards

Work Experience Required/Preferred

Minimum of 1-2 years in fine dining

Previous customer service experience a plus

Required Certification(s)

Food Handler Certification

Responsible Bevarage Service

Position part of a tiered role:

A minimum of 6 months prior Banquet Server experience

Previous customer service experience a plus
