Hourly Wage

ISS Guckenheimer offers full-time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The hourly pay range for this position is $21.50 per hour - $21.50 per hour.

Work Hours

The work hours for this position are approximately 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Mon-Fri.

Prepare and serve vibrant, high-quality smoothies, acai bowls, wellness shots, and paninis in accordance with Guckenheimer's standards. Deliver every order with a cheerful attitude and a commitment to exceptional service.

Ability to keep calm under busy working condition

Must be able to correctly and safely use standard kitchen equipment: Chefs' knives, panini machines, blenders, and juicers

Have knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and completing all production sheets

Possess ServSafe certification or City/State Food Handler Card

Must have a passion for customer service

Always have a positive attitude

Be dependable & reliable

Knowing your equipment is clean and in good working order

Key Accountabilities

Produce visually appealing and delicious foods according to Guckenheimer standards

Prepare smoothies, acai bowls, wellness shots, and paninis under the direction of the Cook or Chef

Serve customers during meal periods

Make smoothies and acai bowls according to recipes or as customer orders

Observe and taste foods when developing new drinks or sandwiches

Follow all sanitation and safety procedures as per the Health Department

Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes, using various kitchen utensils and equipment

Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to patrons

Regulate temperature of grills

Maintain a clean work environment at all times

Substitute for or assist other cooks/smoothie bar porters during emergencies or rush periods

Follow all company safety rules and actively prevent accidents

Commitment to the service values and ethics of the client company

Comply with all ServSafe/Food Handlers and HACCP programs and principles

Knowing your equipment is clean and in good working order

Wash and properly sanitize all serving utensils and blenders

Responsible for the timely delivery of hot and cold food to on-campus sites using carts during special events

Others duties as assigned

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 (lbs)

Employees must be able to work on their feet for the duration of their shift, excluding breaks

Ability to work under pressure during large events and peak periods, adhering to all local and company procedures without compromising quality or safety

This includes following safety protocols, maintaining environmental responsibility, and upholding quality standards in all tasks.
