We are open 7 days a week! 7 am to 2 pm Monday and Tuesday. 7 am to 3 pm Wednesday-Sunday. The opening shift is 6 : 30 am to 2 pm. The closing shift is 8 am to 3 : 30 pm Monday and Tuesday, 8 am to 3 : 30 pm Wednesday through Sunday. Overview : We are looking for Line Cooks who ensure proteins, produce and other food items are prepped to all health and safety standards while practicing good time management and following proper sanitation guidelines. Our goal is to maintain low ticket times while still producing quality meals. We are asking for at least 6 months of previous experience, but are willing to train the right candidate! Primary : Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of FUSION / Poverty Bay Cafe. Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas. Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills or griddles. Prepare food to order, following any and all substitutions. Clean, wash dishes and all kitchen equipment, stock, and restock workstations. Be able to work on multiple orders at once while maintaining low ticket times. Wash, cut, and prepare foods to the standard for recipes. Serve orders to customers (as needed). Ensure the line is well stocked for all-day service.
