Job Goal: Performs custodial duties as assigned by the Building Chief or building administrator. Develop and implement custodial services that will provide clean, comfortable, healthy, safe, and attractive buildings for students and staff.
Job Qualifications:

1. Must possess High School Diploma or Equivalent.
2. Previous Custodial Experience preferred.
3. Ability to physically perform the duties indicated below.
4. Maintain a professional appearance.
5. Able to work with adults and students.
6. Must have obtained the 0-60 Custodial Certificate, or be in the process of obtaining it within 60 days of hire.
7. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

Essential Functions:

1. Cleaning-scrub, wax, buff, dust, sweep or clean floors, walls, blinds, furniture, lavatories, locker rooms, lockers, shelves, fixtures and glass surfaces.
2. Maintain classrooms, offices, and open spaces daily.
3. Perform the following duties in the Staff Lounge and Restroom areas:
4. Clean lounge and mop floors daily.
5. Wipe down table tops and sink areas.
6. Empty trash in the Staff lounge area daily.
7. Clean, sanitize, and mop all restrooms daily.
8. Assist in snow removal.
9. Other related duties as assigned by the Facilities Specialist or designee.
10. Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
