About the Role:
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our Orthopaedic department in Waterbury, Connecticut. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. This position is ideal for someone with a background in multispecialty practicesexperience in neurosurgery is a huge plus.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Greet and check in patients at the front desk
+ Collect copays and verify insurance information
+ Follow up on past due payments
+ Register patients and update medical records
+ Scan and manage medical documentation
+ Support general administrative tasks in a busy medical office
Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills:
+ Experience as a receptionist or medical receptionist
+ Strong patient access and registration skills
+ Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Nice-to-Have:
+ Background in a multispecialty medical group (e.g., neurosurgery, orthopaedics, spine)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
