The Reservation Specialist serves as the first line of contact for Arapahoe Basins call-in guests. Agents primary responsibility is to book products for guests in advance of their upcoming visit, answer inquiries regarding Arapahoe Basin products, services, and in-county lodging options to fit guests' needs, while providing excellent guest service and guidance. Agents work closely with first-time visitors and guests with complex requests, requiring the agent to have specific resort knowledge and attention to detail. Agents are also often tasked with outbound sales campaigns and other special projects as required.
This position can be a hybrid position, meaning employees can work partly in the physical workplace, and partly remotely at home or from another workspace. If you prefer to work from the office full time, that opportunity will be available to you.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide customers with quality customer service in a friendly and positive manner.
- Understand and develop an in-depth knowledge of products offered. These product categories include but are not limited to: Season Passes, daily tickets, Adult and Child Ski School, and Resort Events and Activities.
- Cover an 8-hour shift on phonessometimes longer during holiday and peak periods.
- Actively participate in all assigned daily duties, including but not limited to fulfilling online sale orders, assisting guests via telephone, Live-Chat, email or other written communications.
- Provide resort and local information to the guests. Assess customers needs and provide them with the best products available to meet those needs.
- Check voicemails and emails promptly and respond to the guest within 24 hours to ensure the guests satisfaction.
- Resolve guest complaints, handle all guest concerns, and communicate options.
- Adhere to all departmental and company policies and procedures and participate in all departmental and resort training and development courses.
Experience Requirements:
- One-year experience in sales/customer service.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
Skills Required:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows as well as basic computer skills, with the ability to multitask.
- Effective communication skills, oral & written.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Punctual, able to report at scheduled start time.
- Work well individually and as part of a team.
Other Requirements:
- Knowledge of Arapahoe Basin, Summit County, and Front Range preferred.
Work Environment:
- This can be a hybrid position. When you are in office at Arapahoe Basin, you will work almost 100% of the time indoors in a high-altitude environment. Some outside work in a cold and snowy environment is possible on any given day. Most work is performed in a highly trafficked area in view of guests. A very frequent amount of high-volume guest interaction is involved in this role.
