Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a long-term role with a food manufacturing facility located in Clackamas, OR. The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the production equipment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex issues, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and food quality. Schedule Options: Mon-Fri, Tues-Sat, Sun-Thurs, or Fri-Mon (4/10s), Day shift, Swing Shift, or Graveyard Shift Pay Rate: $28.77 - $38.00/hour Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities: Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with GMP and Global Food Safety standards Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment including conveyors, compressors, chillers, robots, and programmable controllers Identify and solve mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic issues Perform and document preventative and routine maintenance tasks Inspect, dismantle, and reassemble machines; repair or replace parts as needed Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and manuals Fabricate and weld (mild and stainless steel); rebuild equipment Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and records accurately Monitor equipment performance and implement operational improvements Collaborate with vendors and contractors; ensure timely ordering of spare parts and services Train team members on safe and efficient equipment operation Maintain an organized and clean work environment Complete special projects and other duties as assigned Maintenance Engineer Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment 1+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical and/or electrical repair Familiarity with machine shop tools, fabrication, hydraulics, and pneumatics Ability to read and follow schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs LME (Limited Maintenance Electrical) License preferred Experience with stainless steel sanitary welding a plus Self-motivated, safety-focused, and dependable Effective communicator and team player Benefits: $28.77-$38/hr Shift differential for swing and graveyard shifts Incentives for qualified skills (e.g., sanitary welding, LME license) Union membership upon permanent hire Medical 401k with match Paid Holidays Paid Sick Leave #MON Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a long-term role with a food manufacturing facility located in Clackamas, OR.
