Position Summary\:
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner, while maintaining a clean and organized bar environment. This position requires a strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation, along with a genuine passion for customer service.

Responsibilities\:

• Provide exceptional guest service by preparing and serving beverages according to Hyatt standards

• Maintain knowledge of bar menu offerings and seasonal cocktails

• Interact with guests in a positive and engaging manner

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards

• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible service

• Handle cash, credit card, and room charge transactions accurately

• Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction

• Assist in restocking inventory and completing daily opening and closing duties

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Prior bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale bar/restaurant setting preferred

• Knowledge of beverage service techniques, drink recipes, and responsible alcohol service

• Must possess or be able to obtain a Washoe County Alcohol Awareness Card and Food Handlers Card

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for hospitality
