**Position Summary:**

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner, while maintaining a clean and organized bar environment. This position requires a strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation, along with a genuine passion for customer service.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide exceptional guest service by preparing and serving beverages according to Hyatt standards

+ Maintain knowledge of bar menu offerings and seasonal cocktails

+ Interact with guests in a positive and engaging manner

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards

+ Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible service

+ Handle cash, credit card, and room charge transactions accurately

+ Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction

+ Assist in restocking inventory and completing daily opening and closing duties

**Qualifications:**

+ Must be at least 21 years old

+ Prior bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale bar/restaurant setting preferred

+ Knowledge of beverage service techniques, drink recipes, and responsible alcohol service

+ Must possess or be able to obtain a Washoe County Alcohol Awareness Card and Food Handlers Card

+ Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

+ Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for hospitality
