We are seeking a polished and experienced Assistant Hospitality Director for our dining and culinary services to lead both front-of-house and back-of-house dining operations at a luxury senior living community in Dallas, TX.

Your Role and Impact
As a Culinary and Hospitality Assistant Director , you will help oversee the dining operations, with a strong emphasis on front-of-house service excellence. You will ensure the dining room operates like a five-star hospitality venue while collaborating closely with the culinary team to maintain smooth, efficient back-of-house coordination.
You will lead, mentor, and inspire the service team, manage relationships with residents, clients, and leadership, and help the Food Service Director support financial and operational performance — all while creating an inviting and polished dining experience for all.
What You Will Do
- Lead front-of-house service operations, setting and maintaining five-star hospitality standards.
- Build strong relationships with residents and address their feedback with empathy, professionalism, and follow-through.
- Collaborate with the culinary team on weekly menu development and updates, ensuring alignment with resident preferences and nutritional needs.
- Oversee both dining room and kitchen organization, staffing, scheduling, and operational flow.
- Develop and mentor staff, cultivating a positive team culture centered around excellence and service.
- Manage budgets, labor, and inventory with a strong financial and strategic approach.
- Utilize IT systems to handle reporting, scheduling, and administrative tasks with precision.
- Communicate confidently and professionally with residents, the executive team, and client partners.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across both front and back of house.
- Uphold and continuously improve clear, detailed, and standardized service processes.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
What You Will Need
- Proven leadership experience as a Food and Beverage Assistant Director, Culinary Assistant Director or Hospitality Assistant Director, preferably in luxury senior living, fine dining, country clubs, or high-end hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of both front-of-house service standards and back-of-house operations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage residents and lead diverse teams.
- Process-oriented with high attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated financial acumen, including budget management and labor oversight.
- Proficient with IT systems, including POS, inventory, scheduling, and reporting platforms.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
- A genuine passion for creating elegant, meaningful dining experiences.
