Porter

Mincing Spice Company is a leading importer and processor of spices, seeds, and herbs, offering a complete line of whole, re-cleaned, and ground product to industrial food manufacturers. We are seeking a Porter to perform general housekeeping duties at our warehouse and manufacturing facilities located in the Dayton section of South Brunswick Township, New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of offices, lunchrooms, bathrooms, warehouses, laboratory and common areas
Replenish supplies for use during workday
Follow Master Sanitation Schedule and maintain Log
Follow Master Cleaning Schedule and maintain log
Respond to circumstances requiring occasional attention (move boxes, office furniture, special cleaning needs, etc.)
Notify management of proactive maintenance needed
Requirements:
Porter/janitorial/sanitation experience is preferred
Pre-employment drug test (drug free environment)
Skills:
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs (23 kg)
Attention to detail
Time management
Must be able to stand for shift duration, reach, grasp, bend, turn, squat and sit
Job Type: Full-time, hourly, union
Rate: $17 per hour
