Concierge
The primary purpose of this position is to provide Concierge services for Short Term (Rehabilitative Residents)
Job Responsibilities :
Motivate resident to take an interest in their life and community by investigating alternative methods of activities, resident hobbies, and community interest.
Delivers mail, flowers and other items to residents in timely manner and reads mail to residents upon request.
Meet with new patients upon arrival and ensure care needs are being addressed.
Assist labeling clothing or special effects
Logging personal effects
Assist with admissions procedures as requested by admission nurse
Safety and care of resident during transport.
Performs other duties as required.
Education and Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
Previous long-term care experience is desirable.
Artistic background or previous instruction from a certified activity consultant.
