Preventative Maintenance Mechanic Position Summary

Performs Preventative maintenance on selected equipment on a regular basis and as assigned by the Facilities manager. Inspects, and repairs any equipment as necessary and reports these through the TMS management system. Uses sketches, instruments as needed for his duties. Uses hand & power tools, precision measuring, testing instruments as needed. The PM Mechanic will also provide minor ground duties, including picking up trash, ensuring garages are clean and neat, and doing early morning rounds. Provides exceptional workmanship and quality services to all patients, visitors, staff, contractors, and other potential customers. Presents self in a professional manner and is willing to asset and complete other duties as assigned. Preventative Maintenance Mechanic Position Requirements

Education

• High school graduate/GED equivalent.

Experience

• Some maintenance/grounds experience preferred.
• A DOT physical will be required at least once every 24 months for each driver operating vehicles with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) or a gross vehicle weight rating of at least 10,001 pounds

Preventative Maintenance Mechanic Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends. Expected to work overtime if needed.
• Expected to respond to emergencies as necessary.

Preventative Maintenance Mechanic Benefits

• At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.

Salary range: $16.72 - $23.41 Commensurate with experience
