Position Summary

Bar Staff at a music festival are responsible for providing quick, friendly, and efficient service to guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. They serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, handle transactions, maintain cleanliness, and uphold all alcohol safety and event policies.

This is a seasonal part-time role from August 4, 2025 to November 4, 2025.

This role pays an hourly rate of $2.13 and is tip eligible.

This position will remain open until November 4, 2025.

Responsibilities

Serve beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages to festival guests

Check IDs and follow all alcohol service regulations

Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar stations

Restock supplies such as cups, ice, and garnishes as needed

Handle cash and POS transactions accurately

Communicate with barbacks and supervisors for support

Follow health and safety protocols at all times

Deliver excellent customer service with a positive attitude

Report any issues or incidents to supervisors immediately

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 or 21 years old (depending on state alcohol laws)

Previous experience in bartending or bar service preferred, but not required

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work in a loud, outdoor, and fast-paced environment

Must be punctual, reliable, and a team player

TABC or other state alcohol certification (if applicable)
