Compensation Information: $19.00 per hour
Physical Requirement: Medium: Work activities involve handling loads up to 25kg; predominantly in an indoor setting.

Skills you bring with you:
- 1-2 years experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a hotel environment.
- Serving it Right Certification.
- Excellent food and wine knowledge.
- Ability to work quickly and as a team in a fast-past environment.
- Able to motivate and support employees.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift, carry, or push up to 50lbs.
- Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
Primary Responsibilities:
Service/Operations:
- Responsible for coordinating the delivery of all Food and Beverage for functions held in the Hotel and all details pertaining to functions being held in all banquet and meeting rooms while providing an exceptional banquet experience from start to finish.
- Ensure service staff is on schedule and motivated.
- Control of banquet china, glassware, cutlery, linen and all equipment.
- Oversee the set-up, service and tear down of each event.
- Assist Banquet Manager with completion of monthly inventory.
- Health & Safety Regulations are adhered to at all times.
Guest Experience :
- Deliver an elevated experience for our guests within our Banquet department.
- Ensure exceptional service delivery while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Liaise on an on-going basis with the Banquet Manager, Sales Coordinator and the client to ensure the needs and requirements are being met.
- Ensure event execution is on time from start to finish.
- Deal directly with any guests concerns and bring them to the Banquet Manager, Sales Coordinator or the Event Organizers attention.
- Act as an ambassador of the Hotel & Sun Peaks with the ability to promote internal and external events.
Team Commitment:

- Briefing staff members on all event information.
- Implement duty list to ensure all staff members know their responsibilities from start to finish to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
