Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations and daily execution
Supervise and mentor cooks and kitchen staff in food preparation, plating, and presentation
Manage shift planning, prep schedules, and station rotation to ensure smooth service flow
Participate in menu planning, recipe development, and creative tastings
Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain budgeted food and labor costs
Uphold high standards for cleanliness, kitchen safety, and sanitation protocols
Troubleshoot issues proactively and maintain operational flow during cooking and service times
Who You Are
You hold at least 35 years of culinary experience, including supervisory or lead line cook roles
Red Seal certification or formal culinary training is preferred
Youre a natural leaderable to mentor, train, and motivate kitchen staff
Food safety certifications (e.g., FoodSafe Level 2) and knowledge of sanitation protocols
You stay calm under pressure and find solutions efficiently
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly wage: $26.00$28.00, based on experience
Overtime pay
