Status: Full-Time Seasonal

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Reservation Center Agent is responsible for receiving, responding to, and following up on all phone calls, emails and requests directed to Ski Granby Ranch. As a Reservation Center Agent, you will be communicating with our customer base in an efficient manner selling- including, but not limited to season passes, lift tickets, rental equipment, ski school lessons, and lodging.
Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain an organized, clean, efficient workspace and maintain sanitization throughout the day in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain an exceptional level of service in all interactions with guests, fellow employees, and other/all departments.
  • Answer all Reservation Center calls and emails in an efficient and helpful manner.
  • Sell and book Ski Granby Ranch offerings, including, but not limited to: Season Passes, Lift Tickets, Ski School, Events and other associated packages.
  • Assist with Ticket, Retail and Rental departments as requested.
  • Respond to and follow up on all requests in a timely manner.
  • Always handle all guest information professionally and with confidence.
  • Work with other departments to ensure goals are met and processes are effective within the Reservation Center operations.
  • Keep a calm, organized, and positive environment always.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with group sales calls.
  • Assist with company events and functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to handle guest interactions, both positive and negative, in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Strong working knowledge of computer systems, including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Highly developed customer service skills.
  • Ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.
  • Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Ability to stand, bend, and sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Climbing stairs, walking, and locating guests outside when necessary.
  • Weekend and holiday work required.
