Duties
Help
Sets up bars for operion, obtains cash bank and stocks service bar. Assures an adeque stock level is maintained, sets up storeroom and work area to permit easy access to stock items
Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by prons and wait staff. Records sales and makes change or prepares charge slips. Keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary.
Identifies persons who become unruly or who appear intoxiced, resolves the problem or seeks assistance in accordance with established procedures.
Receives specific instructions for new or unusual assignments. Routine work is performed without close supervision. Performs other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions: Work is primarily indoors. Exposed to cuts and bruises.

FWS Allowances and Differentials
This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrive workweek, whichever provides the greer benefit to the employee.
Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment cegory) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled re if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800.
