JOB SUMMARY:

Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all guests by taking orders, making recommendations when appropriate, processing payments, and serving food or beverages to customers at several locations. Must be able to interact with customers in a polite and respectful manner to assure that all guests have been taken care of in multiple locations. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final order preparation including preparing beverages and arranging food items. Must be available to work weekends, mornings, nights and holidays

ESSSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with company policies.

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent to recipes.

Accept guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change if necessary.

Clean and sterilize glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.

Balance cash receipts.

Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, and straws.

Stock coffee bar with coffee, creamers, sugars, cups, napkins and straws.

Present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding beverages.

Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from guests.

Clean bars, work areas, and tables.

Reset tables in bar area.

Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters, to prepare cocktails and other drinks.

Prepare all drink garnishes with proper knife safety.

Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.

Assist the restocking and replenishment of inventory and supplies.

Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to the manager.

Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.

Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

Work with culinary team with all areas of service.

Setup dining experience to include bar, dining room, conference rooms, etc.

Breakdown and clean up all areas where quest have dinned.

Full service throughout guest visit.

Assist with all coffee needs throughout Midmark as it is assigned.

Assist at other locations with service needs to teammates and public as needed.

SECONDARY DUTIES: Responsibilities vary by job description and shift, may include but not limited to the following.

Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the public areas such as kitchen, bathroom, dining areas, conference room.

Follow detailed cleaning list for each location.

Setup and breakdown events according to locations and event details.

Full service to all guest while they are dining.

Inventory all coffee and oversee orders as they are delivered.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Must be 21 years of age

Minimum 2 year of bartending experience making signature cocktails with fresh ingredients

Prior customer service skills

Level 2 ServSafe Certification preferred

High school Diploma-required

2-4-year degree in Hospitality
