Job DetailsAbout the Role: Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe is seeking a skilled Breakfast Line Cook (Cook 3) to join our award-winning Culinary Team. This is a hands-on position focused on preparing high-quality breakfast dishes in a fast-paced, guest-focused resort kitchen. If youre passionate about early morning cuisine and thrive in high-volume, high-standard environments, wed love to meet you.
What Youll Do:
Prepare all breakfast menu items (eggs, omelets, meats, pancakes, waffles, and more) following Hyatt standards and recipes
Work independently on a busy line and across multiple stations
Set up, break down, and maintain breakfast stations with proper mise en place
Operate kitchen equipment including griddles, flat tops, fryers, and ovens
Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety and temperature guidelines
Communicate clearly with teammates and help direct junior staff when needed
Support a positive and professional kitchen culture aligned with Hyatt values
Qualifications:
3+ years of line experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
Culinary degree or hotel kitchen experience preferred
Strong multitasking, communication, and time management skills
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Must have legal work authorization in the U.S.
