Catering Banquet Cook

In this role, you’ll play a key part in making each event special for our clients and their guests. Your culinary skills, strong work ethic, and team-focused mindset will help deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Your Role:

• Culinary Excellence: Support the chef in all kitchen operations — from food prep and purchasing to execution on event days — while upholding top-quality food standards.

• Sanitation Superstar: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment by following food safety best practices at all times.

• Guest Satisfaction: Ensure each dish not only meets our standards but delights guests with flavor and presentation.

• Team Player: Collaborate with the culinary team to create a seamless, professional event experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with event execution based on Banquet Event Orders and Wedgewood Weddings' quality standards.

• Keep the kitchen clean and organized through routine and deep-cleaning procedures.

• Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring freshness and compliance with standards.

• Stock, label, and rotate food items properly, following food safety protocols and FIFO practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Prior work in catering, banquet kitchens, or high-volume restaurants is preferred.

• Safety First: Knowledge of and commitment to sanitation and food safety standards.

• Strong Work Ethic: Willingness to jump in wherever needed to support the team and ensure event success.

• Cool Under Pressure: Ability to stay organized and efficient during fast-paced events.
