Food Expeditor

Local Ocean Seafoods is seeking a Food Expeditor to join our team and be the critical link between the kitchen and service staff. The Expeditor ensures that every dish meets Local Oceans high standards of accuracy, presentation, and timeliness before it reaches our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all outgoing food orders (dine-in & takeout)
Inspect dishes for accuracy, portion, presentation, and temperature
Communicate effectively between kitchen and service teams
Manage workflow to handle multiple orders efficiently
Assist with plating, garnishing, and final dish preparation

Qualifications:
Experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong communication (English/Spanish bilingual is a plus)
Food Handlers card (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for prolonged periods
