We're seeking a warm, friendly, and highly organized Center Concierge to be the welcoming face of our school and a helping hand throughout the day.
Position Overview:
The Center Concierge plays a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for families, staff, and visitors. This position combines excellent customer service with light administrative and operational support. You'll help create a smooth and welcoming experience for families, offer gentle support to children as they arrive and leave, and lend a helping hand wherever it's needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet families, children, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Assist parents with check-in/check-out procedures and general inquiries
- Manage phone calls, emails, and walk-in questions in a timely, helpful manner
- Support daily operations (light clerical tasks, tidying shared spaces, organizing materials)
- Help ensure the lobby and front desk are clean, organized, and welcoming
- Provide occasional classroom or event support as needed
- Assist the administrative and teaching staff with small tasks and errands throughout the day
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, reception, or administrative support (experience in a childcare or school setting is a plus!)
- Friendly, approachable, and patient demeanor
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable interacting with children, families, and staff
- Basic computer skills (email, data entry, calendar management)
