Job Details JF Restaurants is looking for Line Cooks with experience working multiple stations and can help us deliver exceptional food with every plate. The North Fork Table & Inn is nestled in between some of the areas greatest farms and wineries. Southold offers a great opportunity to get out of the city for the summer and enjoy vast outdoor spaces with a handful of beaches near by.
Housing is available if you are not based locally.

What You'll Do:
  • Execute dishes with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail across multiple stations (grill, saute, fry, garde manger, etc.)
  • Follow prep lists and recipes to standard
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Assist with staff meals
  • Communicate clearly with fellow cooks, chefs, and expediters
  • Assist in daily prep and end-of-shift breakdown
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Complete any other tasks given in a timely and professional manner
What Were Looking For:
  • Minimum 12 years of experience on the line in a professional kitchen
  • Experience working multiple stations
  • Strong knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
  • A positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
  • Punctual, dependable, and collaborative
  • Must be able to maintain a schedule that is flexible to the business demands
