Contra Costa Country Club in Pleasant Hill, CA is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Server to join our Food & Beverage team. While the role primarily involves banquet service, the ideal candidate will also be comfortable with à la carte dining in our clubhouse restaurant. This position requires a high level of customer service, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.

Compensation: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour

Position Summary
We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Server to join our Food & Beverage team. While the role primarily involves banquet service, the ideal candidate will also be comfortable with à la carte dining in our clubhouse restaurant. This position requires a high level of customer service, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and break down banquet events including table settings, buffet stations, and beverage service
• Provide attentive and efficient service during weddings, golf tournaments, member events, and private functions
• Serve à la carte meals in the dining room when needed, following proper service etiquette
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth service
• Uphold club standards for appearance, professionalism, and member interaction
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and closing duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in banquet or fine dining service preferred
• Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques and etiquette
• Ability to lift and carry trays, stand for extended periods, and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and commitment to excellence
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-Time: Flexible hours, primarily evenings and weekends
• Competitive hourly wage + service charge
