Miller Cooper is seeking a professional, organized, and proactive Receptionist to be the welcoming face in our Downers Grove office. This role is crucial in creating a positive first impression for employees and guests, while also providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth and effective operation of our office. The ideal candidate is a highly adaptable individual with a strong service orientation, a willingness to take on diverse tasks, and be in person 5 days/week.

How You Will Contribute:
Catering & Meeting Support:
Assist with the organization and setup of catered food for weekly lunches, trainings, and other meetings
Coordinate with catering vendors for orders, delivery, and setup/cleanup(must be willing to lift 5-10lbs)
Ensure meeting rooms are prepared and stocked as needed for various events
Guest Management:
Warmly greet and welcome all visitors, clients, and candidates, ensuring a positive and professional first impression
Direct guests to the appropriate person or department
Office Operations & Administrative Support:
Maintain a tidy, organized, and welcoming reception and kitchen areas
Ensure coffee is made daily and refilled throughout the day
Daily stocking and inventory of office and kitchen supplies
Perform various administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scanning, shredding, and photocopying
Actively seek out and take on new tasks and projects to support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of business operations
Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure seamless office functionality, including covering other office locations (Chicago and Deerfield) when needed
Other duties:
Assist with scheduling appointments, travel arrangements and managing calendars as requested
Mail & Deliveries
Provide back up for incoming phone calls as needed
About YOU!
3+ years as a Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, or similar office support role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite- (Word, Excel, Outlook)
A strong willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities to contribute to the team's success
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional attitude and appearance
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a high degree of attention to detail
Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when dealing with issues that may arise.

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including internal salary alignment, market data, and the candidate’s qualifications- including, but not limited to, specialty skills, prior relevant industry experience, and relevant degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, JD). A reasonable estimate of the compensation for this level is$28-$32/hour.
Qualifications
