Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaborative abilities, and a proactive approach to technical challenges which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Hudson, NY

Pay Range: $26.00-$29.00/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am - 3:30pm + Overtime

What's the Job?

• Conduct daily setup and preparation of equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Perform technical support checks and operational assessments on various machinery.
• Monitor electrical, hydraulic, and control systems to confirm functionality and safety.
• Identify and resolve equipment performance issues during routine inspections.
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and maintain accurate logs.

What's Needed?

• 1-3 years of experience in maintenance, ideally in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with technical machinery.
• Familiarity with process automation control and low-voltage systems.
• Hands-on experience with electrical controls, programming, and wiring.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
