About You: You have a Cosmetology or Barber license, or you're close to finishing school You're familiar with all salon services, especially color services You're confident multitasking and want to work in both front-of-house and back-of-house roles You're polished, reliable, and professional with strong communication skills You're looking for growth, mentorship, and meaningful salon experience Job Responsibilities: Reception - Greet clients and manage check-in/out - Book appointments and handle scheduling for complex services - Answer phones, respond to texts and emails professionally - Process payments and help keep things running smoothly Salon Assistant - Shampoo clients, assist with treatments, prep stations - Maintain cleanliness and aesthetics throughout the salon - Restock supplies, handle laundry, and support stylists as needed - Be a reliable part of our team ready to jump in where needed Schedule & Compensation: 28-32 hours/week Wednesday through Saturday availability required $20/hour Growth opportunities in a respected, long-established NYC salon To Apply: Please only apply if you are licensed (or nearly licensed) and have salon experience.
