Round Rock-Food Service Tech Job Description Join a dynamic team in a hospital kitchen where you will contribute to serving over 700 guests daily. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will work in an isolated area and must follow directions well, while being self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Wash dishes as the primary duty. Stock food, prepare food, and service the dining area. Work part-time, 16-24 hours per week. Rotate working every other weekend. Essential Skills 1.5+ years of experience in the food service industry. 1.5+ years of job tenure at previous employers. Ability to lift 50lbs and push 100lbs. Customer service-oriented mindset. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in food service, cleaning, and food preparation. Strong dishwashing skills. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a hospital cafeteria where appearance and general hygiene are crucial. The environment requires no facial piercings, tattoos must be covered, and no heavy fragrances. Shift options are available from 6:30AM-3PM or 12:30PM-9PM, with rotations every other weekend. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Round Rock, Texas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.75 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
